189. Quieting Your Inner Critic By Becoming Your Own Ally with Cynthia Phelps

Most of us have an inner voice who’s pretty critical and can be loud at times (sometimes what feels like all the time).

Having that voice is normal and a byproduct of our brain always being on the lookout for threats to our safety.

While we can’t fully eliminate it, today’s guest, Cynthia Phelps, is teaching us how we can work on developing an Inner Ally who helps balance out our self-talk and supports us when we need it most.

Listen to this week’s episode:

216. {Bite-Sized Episode} Diet “rules” that actually work

Most people like weight loss programs with really straightforward rules.

We want to know what’s good and what’s bad. What’s ok and what’s not. To be confident that as long as we’re following the rules, we’ll lose weight.

The problem is that following rules-heavy programs doesn’t actually put you in a good position to maintain your results without, well, continuing to follow them.

Tune in to learn which “rules” actually work and how to create them in your own life.

Ep. 215 Getting Yourself Unstuck with Kerry Tepedino

Kerry’s rock bottom moment – much like mine – came after binge eating a jar of peanut butter.

When she realized that her binging and purging was going to kill her, she started learning as much as she could about changing the patterns that were keeping her stuck.

What she learned along the way isn’t just applicable to food, but to making a positive change in any area of our lives.

If you’re tired of telling yourself “this time will be different”, only to break yet another promise to yourself, this episode is a must listen.
