193. Navigating Grief Without Slipping Into Unhealthy Habits with Jacey Keller

It’s not comfortable or pleasant to talk about but losing a parent – and grief, in general – is inevitable and today’s conversation with grief coach, Jacey Keller, will help you be prepared.

Whether you’ve just experienced a loss, your parents are alive and well, or you’re supporting a loved one through their own loss, you’ll get something out of today’s episode.

We talk about how to not lose yourself to a caregiving role, navigating acute grief right after a loss, how to get yourself to the point where you start taking care of yourself, again, and the best ways to be there while others are grieving.

Listen to this week’s episode:

Jacey Keller

When Jacey was 17, she lost her mother on Valentine’s Day after a 6-year battle with colon cancer. As a senior in high school, she didn’t know what resources were available.

Jacey ended up gaining over 40lbs as a result of overeating in grief. She battled insomnia and failed her college classes.

She went on to build a life with her husband, two kids, and a career she loves and is passionate about.

Jacey is a certified life coach who helps people rebuild life after losing a parent.

Whether it’s losing the grief weight, navigating family conflict, making decisions…

She is an expert at helping you gain a clear perspective. She helps you make the most intentional decisions in grief with confidence.

You will find her by her desk in cozy slippers, sipping on a caffeinated ICE drink, while focusing on her mission.

Jacey’s mission is to help you remove the heaviness of grief so you can build a life you love again.
