23. Talking to Friends & Family About Weight Loss

In This Episode

As much as your family and friends may say they support your weight loss goals, sometimes their actions (and even words at a different point in time) say otherwise.
Sometimes they may just be trying to protect you from the disappointment of another “failed” diet and sometimes they’re scared of you changing and leaving them behind.
Whatever the reason, talking about your weight loss efforts and responding to comments about your body and your choices can be uncomfortable.
This week’s episode will give you some great strategies for handling these situations without sacrificing what you want in order to make other people comfortable
