In This Episode
There are a lot of things you don’t need to stress about when it comes to weight loss. But I bet you probably are doing it anyway. In this episode, I’m addressing 10 of the most common unnecessary stressors I see.
These are topics that come up over and over in weight loss groups and with my clients.
They cause a lot of worry that uses up your energy without actually helping you get results.
Tell me if you’ve been there…
A friend tells you about a diet they’ve had some success with, so you give it a try. Then, you hear about something else, so you dabble in that a little bit.
Eventually, you end up trying a bunch of different things at once and spreading yourself super thin.
You’re doing a lot of things, but you’re not doing any of them very well. And most of them don’t matter anyway.
When it comes down to it, there are only a few things that really matter and are really impactful when it comes to losing weight. And you’re best off devoting most of your energy to those things.
This episode will help you zoom out and look at the bigger picture.
To point out the things you’re stressing about that aren’t actually going to make a difference so you can stop thinking about it and devote that energy to something that will give you more bang for your buck.
The whole weight loss process is a lot more enjoyable when you are not trying to do all the things and then feeling like you’re falling short.
You can do less – better and more consistently – and you will get better and more consistent results than you’ve ever gotten before.
When you find yourself stressing over your weight loss, I want you to remember…
You haven’t messed anything up. You’re a human, and that is okay.
There will be a next opportunity to make a good decision and get back on track.
