Given that I am someone who literally eats the same foods everyday for months on end (this being very apparent as I realize we are 4 months into deployment and I have only changed my meals very minimally from week to week), I am not the person to turn to if you’re looking to expand your horizons.
However, when I am trying to impress the rare dinner guest or seem domesticated at a BBQ, I turn to Google to help me out. I have several recipe blogs that I frequent that make it seem like I have impressive cooking skills when, in reality, I’m good at reading and measuring things.
Anyhow, while I can’t take credit for any of these recipes myself, I did round them up for you, so you’re welcome for that. I usually test a recipe once and if it makes the cut, I put it in a big binder with all the other recipes that I’ve made and like so that I have something of a personal recipe book.
